Election Information:

The Town of White has three elected officials (called Supervisors) on four-year rotating terms resulting in an election every OTHER year held in November at the General Election.  Two Supervisor seats are up for election in 2026 - Supervisor Seat A (held by Jon Skelton) and Supervisor Seat B (held by Edward Kippley).   

Filing Period for Township Supervisor is July 14, 2026 through July 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.  For more information on campaign filing refer to the Minnesota Secretary of State's website.   To file for Office an Affidavit of Candidacy Form needs to be completed and brought to the Township Office along with the $2.00 filing fee.  

Election Day Polling Place/Precinct Locations:

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day for voting.  

Important Dates:

Precinct Caucus Day: Tuesday, February 3, 2026

Primary Election: Tuesday, August 11, 2026  

Absentee Voting Begins at the Township Office on Friday, June 26, 2026 for the Primary Election.  Voters may request a ballot be mailed to them or may vote in person at the Township Office during regular business hours.  Regular business hours are Monday's 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. to Noon;  Office will also be open on Saturday, August 8, 2026 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for voting.   

General Election: Tuesday, November 3, 2026  

Absentee Voting begins at the Township Office on Friday, September 18, 2026 for the Primary Election.   Voters may request a ballot be mailed to them or may vote in person at the Township Office during regular business hours.  Regular business hours are Monday's 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. to Noon;  Office will also be open on Saturday, October 24, 2026 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2026 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2026 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. for voting.
